The cost of one malicious call

Twilio$0.01
Deepgram$0.01
ElevenLabs$0.08
ClaudeEstimated at about $2.50 per million input tokens once prompt caching is blended in, and $5 per million output. Every reply re-reads the whole conversation, so input is nearly all of it.$0.03

Each minute costs more than the last. Every reply re-reads the whole conversation so far, so the model's share grows with every turn while the rest stays flat.

Each call is the one you set up above. They don't come one at a time, and they don't come while you're watching. A script places them at two in the morning, when nobody is looking at the dashboard.

One hour is enough.

Two ways it ends

Without a spend cap
$13

Lands on the card at the end of the month. Every vendor billed you for real calls, because to them they were. Nobody refunds a flood.

With a spend cap
Dark until it stops.

The cap trips an hour in. The vendor stops serving, your agent stops answering, and every real caller hears nothing. Raising the cap doesn't help: they spend that too. You are down until someone works out what is arriving and stops it.

Either way, they got what they came for. And they will be back.

When you least expect it.

What we watch for

Arrival

01 of 06

Too many, too fast. Or paced to look like a busy afternoon.

Where it sits

Behind the number, never in the call.

Two events from your call server, or a server URL on your platform. Setup is under ten minutes.

Never hears audio

Inputs are phone numbers, timestamps, and turn events your platform already emits.

Never in the call path

Events are forwarded fire-and-forget. If Murusai went dark, every call would still complete.

Your controls, not ours

Ending a call goes through your platform's own call controls. Where a platform has none, you get the alert and act.

Two plans.

Three numbers, free, for as long as you like.

About ten minutes to switch on. Nothing changes about how your agent answers.
